Introduced in the United States in January 2005, MonaVie offers premium drinks, specifically for person-to-person distribution. MonaVie Original is an exclusive blend of 19 exotic and delicious fruits (açaí, cupuaçu, aronia, acerola, cranberry, blueberry, etc.). In June 2008, MonaVie announced plans to launch in Brazil. Since its inception, MonaVie has established an excellent relationship with Brazil through its harvest of açai from the Amazon Rainforest.

From harvesting the fruits to distributing the product to the consumer, MonaVie places a high priority on protecting the Amazon Rainforest. In fact, MonaVie actually helps preserve the rainforest through a sustainable harvest of the açai berry and other fruits. MonaVie also supports the MORE Project, a non-profit organization in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. The MORE Project provides shelter, clothing, affection and, above all, hope for impoverished children and adults living in the region.
